LOOKING BACK ON A SUCCESSFUL ONLINE AUCTION

The online debut of Auction Mechelen was a great success. All but 1 of the 18 selected horses were sold and generated a total turnover of 538,000 euros. This therefore equates to a strong average of more than 30,000 euros.
Quintino Royal Z, a 2-year-old stallion by Quabri De L’Isle , was sold for 81,000 euros and will stay in Belgium. He was bought by Kelly Pieck and Dirk Demeersman (Cavallini BV).
For an amount of 62,000 euros, Ricardo W&S was the second most expensive auction horse. He will relocate to Ecuador for 62,000 euros. A Swiss buyer secured Cortez Blue VD Bisschop for 51,500 euros. Extra EDC Z was sold to Mauritius for 45,000 euros and Cover Girl will move to Ukraine for 35,000 euros.
With buyers from America, France, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Hungary, ... Auction Mechelen attracted a diverse international clientele.
